If you’ve ever been diving or snorkeling in the southern Sea of Cortez or in Hawaii, you’ve seen this fish. While they can occasionally be seen as solitary or in pairs, I’ve usually experienced their company in significant numbers hovering about the reef and largely ignoring divers.
